Marco Giorgio Luzzi

Marco Giorgio Luzzi explores the mystery of being in the world using symbolic, dreamlike, and metaphysical images to focus attention on the abstract, the elsewhere in everyday reality.
He mainly uses drawing on paper, but also expresses himself through other media, photography, digital art, AI.
The style varies from abstract expressionism to symbolism and metaphysical surrealism, always with a minimalist approach.
His education focused on developing his vision and mind, with courses in photography, theater, cinema, video, screenwriting, and storytelling.
Martial and esoteric disciplines have helped shape his work through symbolism and freedom of expression in movement.
Chronological biography
M.G.L Born in February 1965, drawing was a natural need and passion for him since childhood. He attended photography courses in the 1980s and focused his studies on computer science, maintaining a focus on images and multimedia applications.
In the early 1990s, he attended the faculty of philosophy, acted in experimental theater, and began his first experiences with video.
In 1996, he studied video-cinematographic techniques in depth: a course at the Fuoricampo association, followed by the production of short films as a director and author of 3D animated titles and videos.
Alongside his filmmaking activities, he continued his research into freehand drawing, painting on canvas, graphics, web design, and photography, experimenting in various ways.
Esoteric/alchemical studies led him to use symbols and symbolic representations with excursions into surrealism.
2021-present: Use of AI in connection with input from his own drawings.
